Hotel Sales & Marketing Assistant (OTA's/Tour Operators)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively handles/manages all communications regarding OTA's (Online Tour Operators) & traditional Tour Operators.
Proactively contact OTA's and Tour Operators to promote the hotel as a destination of choice
Where assigned, represent the Hotel at road shows, trade fairs,
educational seminars, BHTA and BTMI sponsored events.
SALES PLANNING
Preparation of the annual plans and actions for the designated markets in order to meet/exceed the sales goals of the department.
Develops a monthly plan to make sales calls.
Keeps the Banquets, Accounts and Reservations departments fully informed about developments or changes as it relates to OTA/Tour Operator business.
Maintains a close working relationship with Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services and Food & Beverage departments in order to ensure a smooth coordination of hotel services.
Performs other job related activities that may be assigned by Management.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Min 2 - 4 years hotel services sales experience
Proven knowledge of the Online Tour Operator/Traditional Tour Operator market
Qualification in Tourism/Hotel industry related studies
