Honeywell Trinidad was founded in July 1997 as a branch of Honeywell C.A. (Venezuela) and a subsidiary of Honeywell Inc. The branch reports functionally to the Houston office of Honeywell Inc.. Honeywell Trinidad provides local engineering support for controls systems and applications in the areas of Hydrocarbon Process, Oil and Gas, Food Industries, and Homes and Buildings Automation and Security.

The Branch has engineering support capabilities and can offer training locally. All engineers have been internationally trained, are fully capable of and possess the expertise of implementing the entire range of activities from engineering and commissioning to project start up and Aftermarket Services.

Major customers include the major Oil & Gas processing organizations in Trinidad & Tobago. The systems installed at these facilities are the process control and security and access control systems which ensure the efficiency, safety and profitability of these organizations.
