Job Summary
People Services Recruiters are responsible for providing staffing services for non-exempt positions. This includes sourcing candidates using a variety of recruiting methods, managing relationships with outside vendors to provide the company with alternative means of recruiting and strategizing with People Services Manager and hiring managers in determining the needs of the engagement center as well as a hiring strategy to meet the business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Establishes a recruiting strategy by analyzing job descriptions and management feedback, customizing processes as well as staying abreast of industry trends and local labor market conditions.
- Creates and maintains the quarterly budget for the engagement center.
- Recruits, interviews, screens, complete reference checks and makes hiring decisions in collaboration with local management at the Engagement Specialist and Supervisor level. May consult with hiring manager regarding potential candidates and assists them in their final decision at the agent/supervisor level. Finalizes offers in accordance with employment and compensation policies. Processes appropriate paperwork.
- Identifies creative sources for recruitingqualified candidates through a variety of continually expanding means to include database, Internet, newspaper advertising, job fairs, professional organizations, community agencies, and colleges. Strategize with the engagement center to determine other possible sources.
- Ensures that hiring process is followed in an appropriate manner.
- Complete initial paperwork with new hires asdirected by the PSM.
- Initiates and implements special projects in order to help “grow” the staffing function internally as well as within the community.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state legislation/regulations, and People Services policies and procedures to prevent and/or minimize potential liability to the company.
- Acts as a backup to the People Services Manager

- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- 3 to 5 years previous employment interviewing and employee relations skills required.
- Previous experience in a call center environment desired.
