HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

Human Resource Officer 

Job Summary 

Key Duties:-

  • Administers the group medical and pension plans.
  • Prepares correspondence (Employment Contracts, Memorandum, External Letters, etc.)
  • Maintains employees’ personnel files and HR database.
  • Supervises the Reception Area
  • Supervises the payroll department
  • Ensures compliance with all of the necessary requirements of the Industrial Relations Act and other Labour relations practices.
  • Oversees Uniform distribution
  • Maintains records of and monitors employees’ punctuality, attendance and leave entitlement.
  • Co-ordinates the training and development activities.
  • Assists with the recruitment and selection process.
  • Assists with the coordinating of the Performance Management System.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Assists with the planning and executing of all staff functions.
  • Assist with the coordinating of the Safety Committees’ activities.

Job Requirements:

  • At least an Associate Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or a minimum of three (3) experience in Human Resource Administration
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
