HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

 

The successful applicant will support the General Manager to deliver expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities. Activities include efficient administration and management of the function to ensure Team Member engagement, consistent administration of HR programmes and policies, and compliance with statutory requirements to achieve customer service and departmental objectives.

   Applicants should satisfy the following:

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labour relations, occupational safety and health and personnel information systems.
  • Have a pleasant disposition with the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Must be service driven with excellent customer service skills.
  • Have strong execution and organizational skills.
  • Must have effective interpersonal and negotiation skills proven through successful interaction with all levels of team members.
  • Must have excellent screening and placement skills.
  • Knowledge of current literature, materials, and trends in team member engagement and motivation.
  • Must have the ability to analyze and resolve problems, exercising good judgment.
  • Must be able to create and manage a Human Resources budget
  • Ability to effectively influence stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum three years work experience in a HR Leadership role.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule
