Group Human Resources Manager for the leading regional microfinance institution.

As the Group Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible to provide practical, consistent, and proactive support, direction and advice to management on Human Resource procedures, policies, best practices, and employment rewards to facilitate the group in achieving its objectives and targets. The objective of the Human Resources department is to retain and grow the talent and to champion all of the group’s HR programs, policies and initiatives. The Group Human Resources Manager will advise management on work related to hiring, recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, industrial relations, and career development. You will be responsible for developing and conducting extensive training of the staff and management. With strong emphasis on customer service, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the overall customer experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company employees.
- Create and update policies for the Human Resources Department and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Establish and maintain a Performance Management System. Guide regional management on performance management to include performance evaluations, performance measurements and feedback systems
- Identify, develop, and champion innovative solutions for recruitment, leadership resource planning, retention & engagement initiatives to drive results.
- Develop, interpret, and provide a range of management reports/metrics, using data to drive decisions, analyze trends from data & provide value-added solutions to operational problems
- Lead the recruiting efforts; serve as part of the interview team for position finalists to ensure candidates fit the culture.
- Lead training efforts through development, implementation and evaluation of transfer to work practices of relevant training and development activities across all organizational levels with emphasis on improving customer service experience and enhancing performance.
- Develop a comprehensive orientation program for new employees.
- Develop a comprehensive curriculum in all areas of the business, instilling the business culture of the Company. The curriculum should include a summary handout and assessment.
- Regularly conduct training for the various branches and streamline all HR training.
- Lead the Company’s efforts on the development of the regional management by providing ongoing training and coaching sessions.

Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of human resources management experience.
- Extensive experience in training and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in establishing HR operations.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, often under pressure; must be flexible to changes in priorities.
- Results driven and possess excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), organizational and problem solving skills; and possess an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics
- Willingness to travel.
