Welch, Morris + Associates Ltd., a Building Services Engineering and Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a suitable individual to fill the role of Graduate Electrical Building Services Engineer.

Job Title: Graduate Electrical Building Services Engineer

Educational Qualifications:

Essential:
BSc./BEng. Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems. Lower Second class honours minimum

Experience:

Essential:

• Summer job experience in an engineering environment.    
• Computer literate: Comfortable with the use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)

Desirable:    

• Capable of using AutoCAD, and electrical software such as “Volts” would be an asset.

Main Purpose of Job:  

The principal role of the job would be to assist in preparing electrical design documentation inclusive of design drawings, specifications, budget estimates, bill of quantities & reports for the company’s clients.

Key Tasks:

• The candidate will assist in the design & development of electrical infrastructure, lighting, security, fire alarm and detection, voice & data systems associated with buildings, new & refurbished, as well as, infrastructural development.
• Assist in the preparation of electrical budget estimates and bill of quantities where required.
• Assist in the supervision of CAD Draughtsmen/Technicians.
