KEY FUNCTIONS
Consult with the Authority’s Line Managers to ascertain the Human Resource Managements needs and determine manpower requirements
Develop and implement Personnel Establishment Control Policies, Procedures and Mechanisms to ensure compliance with established objectives.
Provides Line Managers with advice and guidance in the development and implementation of training programmes for their divisions or departments.
Ensures the development and maintenance of appropriate Compensation Administration Systems ensuring the prompt review of Job Documents, Job Ratings, Classifications, Base and Supplemental Compensation.
Ensures the development, implementation and effective utilization of an appropriate Performance Management System.
Plans and coordinates the negotiation with Employee Representatives of Terms and Conditions of Employment, the maintenance of appropriate Industrial Relations Practices and Procedures, and effective representation of the Authority’s interests with Institutional Authorities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
The incumbent must have a First Degree in a Social Science together with Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resources Management.
At least ten (10) years experience of which five (5) will be at a senior management level in human resources.
Comprehensive knowledge of current professional issues in Human Resources Management.
Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Certificates acquired at foreign universitiies MUST be supported by certified transcripts as well as evidence that the completed programme is accredited in Trinidad & Tobago
