Who are we?
Sierra Services are currently involved in a multi-million dollar Telecommunications project in the Caribbean. Over the past number of months we have been hiring a large professional expatriate workforce across a number of disciplines. Due to expansion into new markets we are requiring a further number of Telecommunications Construction professionals to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable global experience.
Job overview
We are searching for senior management professional with significant experience in fixed and wireless telecommunications. The role will involve developing and commercializing scalable, relevant and profitable opportunities for Sierra in the Trinidad & Tobago market initially. The General Manager should also have the flexibility and capacity to take on responsibility for further exploration into other territories over time. The General Manager will work closely with the CEO and Senior Management of Sierra Support Services Group to develop a successful commercial platform in the Trinidad & Tobago market.
What you will be responsible for?
- General workforce management

- Relationship/account management
- Participation in tendering, proposals and bid management
- Client presentations
- Regular reporting of KPI's and deliverables
- Driving health and safety strategy
What Knowledge, Skills & Abilities do you require?
- Minimum third level qualification in a relevant discipline
- Minimum five years experience in Telecoms at a senior level
- Knowledge of the evolving telecoms sectors is a key advantage
- Proven track record managing large teams
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Excellent planning, organisational and teamwork skills
- Must have a strong financial acumen
- Flexible, self-starter who can work on their own initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must be proactive, with a positive "can do" attitude Must be computer literate with high level knowledge of MS Office
