Food and Beverage Manager
Oldendorff Carriers Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. (OCTT), part of Oldendorff Carriers, was established in July 2012 and operates a transhipment site, six nautical miles offshore Point Lisas, in the Gulf of Paria.
OCTTL is seeking to recruit an experienced individual to fill the position of Food and Beverage Manager, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
Food and Beverage Manager
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience managing staff within a hospitality setting
- Culinary School Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service Management
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience in food and beverage management
Main duties:
- Manage the day-to-day food and beverage operations on board and ashore
- Oversee and control strict compliance with health and safety regulations
- Forecast, plan, and supervise food and beverage requisitions
- Design menus, monitor food quality and supervise stores
- Ensure all food and beverage operations remain within the budget
- Ensure maximum satisfaction of internal customers: crew and office staff
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Problem solving capabilities
- Effective communication skills
- Computer literate and proficient in MSOffice
