Management in the design and implementation of Management systems and processes to assure maximum availability and utilization of the Group Mobile fleet.
PRIMARY RESPOSIBILITY/DUTIES
Develops, coordinates and executes Heavy Equipment and Fleet mainenance programs and work schedules to assure maximum availability of all assets.
Facilitates execution of maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
Monitor shops operational performance and efficiency and takes action to redirect activities appropriately.
Develop and implement strategies and action to reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns.
Planning and scheduling maintenance work on critical high performance Heavy Equipment and other components of Fleet to minimize costly down time.
Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians and other maintenance personnel involved in the maintenance of operating equipment.
Implements sysytems, processes and procedures to enable effective control of maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
Develops maintenance strategies to support installation and commisssioning guidlines and effective troruble shooting of state of the art heavy duty equipment.
Perform inspections of the outside repairs and maintenance to ensure all work is properly executed in accordance with company safety and compliance procedures
Coaching and mentoring of key maintenance personnel to enable transfer of learning and overall employee development.
Develop, implement and maintain a system to enable Heavy Equipment performance trending and failure analysis.
Maintain an effective vendor relationships to assure that the Company derives agreed and maximum benefits from after sales service agreements.
Identify training opportunities and, as necessary, document issues and constructively implement corrective actions.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
A minimum of fifteen(15) years direct industry experience, at least seven (7) of which must be at a senior leadership level.
Relevant technical certification with appropriate specialization or eqvalent combination of technical certification and experience.
Strong leadership and managerial capability.
Strong communication capability
Ability to lead and effect negotiations with vendors.
Good financial management and planning skills
Ability to develop realistic, comprehensive plans to enable and assure efficient use of resources.
