Our client, a long-established agricultural enterprise, is intensifying its export thrust and now seeks an experienced, commercially minded Financial Controller.

The Role

• Reporting to the Managing Director, the FC is expected to ensure the integrity of the accounting records and management information.
• Lead the completion of MS Dynamics GP implementation and effectively supervise, coach and motivate team members to embrace the change and meet reporting schedules.
• Provide timely and astute analyses of key business drivers and operational efficiency to facilitate effective decision making and strengthen competitive edge.
• Liaising with the Office Manager, systematically evaluate operations and business performance and provide insightful guidance to the MD and the Board on corporate financial matters.

Preferred Profile  

• ACCA/CPA; with at least 10 years in a similar position gained in a production environment, demonstrating sound commercial judgment and operations know-how.
• Previous experience in the Sugar, Rum/FMCG Industries is desirable.
• A high degree of IT literacy is important and proven success in implementing a computerized accounting system, an advantage.
• Proven analytical  and problem solving skills.
• A mature approach, comfortable interacting and communicating effectively at all levels.
• The successful candidate is required to reside

    on-property.  Compensation is competitive, and     

    housing is provided.
