JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Analyst will perform the following duties:

  • Co-ordinates, develops and presents the Annual Budget for review and approval and manages the execution of all budget decisions.
  • Provide monthly analysis of performance for planning and forecasting by department and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and operational improvements in a variety of business areas within the group.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and research of business issues in order to provide management with financial data and business advice to support their resource allocation decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports and analysis.
  • Provide appropriate interpretations and analyses of financial and accounting issues for the benefit of Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Plans, directs and controls the activities of the Accounting Department in a manner as to be able to continuously avail appropriate accounting information for management decision-making.



To qualify for this exceptional opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications (required unless noted otherwise):

  • ACCA, CIMA or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of financial budgeting/planning and analysis, forecasting, and business performance reporting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Polished communication skills, both written and oral, in order to make effective presentations to the upper management.
  • Strong analytical and auditing skills with the ability to analyze situations quickly from different perspectives and create well-reasoned solutions.
  • Solid Excel modeling; must be an advanced Excel user.
  • Strong verbal/written communication; must be able support accounting/finance recommendations with logical evidence and persuasively present position.

Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work within a collaborative and innovative environment to motivate staff and effect changes.
