Financial Analyst

Job Purpose We are looking for an individual that can develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.

Financial Analyst

Job Purpose   

We are looking for an individual that can develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.

Key Accountabilities 

The Financial Analyst function includes but is not limited to the following:-  

• Preparing annual budget and monthly forecast for profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow.

 • Providing monthly or quarterly actual reporting for profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements 

• Providing updates to departmental budget expense templates and coordinating roll-ups to the corporate expense budget. 

• Contributing to the updating of financial tools for budgets and forecasting. 

• Providing departmental expense actual vs. budget analysis.  May be required to provide recommendation of necessary actions.    Skill/Knowledge/Experience 

• Broad application of finance principles, theories, and concepts. 

• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obbtaining solutions 

• Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. 

• Receives little instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

Key Qualifications 

•Bachelor’s degree or ACCA Level 3

• A minimum of 4 years related experience. 

• In-Depth knowledge of finance principles, theories and concepts, including GAAP 

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of products. 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues. 

• The ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments as required. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
