Finance Officer
Main Function
The Finance Officer is responsible for the provision of the monthly financial functions of the ZIKA Project, as well as giving support to the finance team in establishing accounting policies and procedures
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties applicable to all Staff
At least two years of work experience in an accounting capacity |
Experience with Red Cross or NGO is an asset |
Excellent practical knowledge of computers (Windows, Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Email, Internet) |
Knowledge of Peachtree accounting software |
Experience in budget preparation |
Experience in report writing |
Skills and Abilities |
Good oral and written communication |
Highly organized and able to multi task |
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite |
Excellent time management and planning skills |
Good customer service relations. Be highly confidential, professional, mature and capable of relating appropriately to individuals from various social backgrounds |
