finance Manager
Role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and corporate reporting requirements for our Manufacturing operations, while also providing organisational and administrative leadership for all financial operations. These responsibilities include implementation of accounting policy, internal and external financial reporting, costing and financial analysis, inventory management and internal controls and procedures. Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will work closely with representatives across all functions of the business.
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in all financial operations of the company including reporting, forecasting, invoicing and cash management, accounts payables and receivables
Lead and participate in the monthly accounting close ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness and compliance with corporate policy
Tax compliance including payroll taxes, GCT and corporation tax
Preparation of forecasts and annual budgets
Support the implementation of new processes and controls and the implementation of new systems
Qualifications
ACCA Level II with at least 3 years Senior accounting experience, preferably in the Manufacturing industry
Experience
Experience in preparing reports and analysis on the performance of the business
Involvement in the implementation of processing and control systems in a time pressured environment
Experience in the application of internal control procedures and frameworks
Proven team player with leadership skills including the ability to coach and energise others
Interpersonal skills sufficient to support, advise and influence managers from different parts of the business whilst providing strong financial control
Strong IT literacy, Microsoft Excel in particular and working knowledge of SAP
Critical thinking and good analytical skills
Hands-on approach and proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
