The Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day control of the Finance function within the company.


1. Key Tasks and Targets
 

  • Comply with the company's Integrated Management Systems – AIMS – which encompasses company’s objectives with regard to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and People; meet agreed targets and standards at all times to reduce risk and achieve the Business Plan.
  • The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager and the Group Financial Controller and will liaise closely with the Operations Team.
  • Specific Responsibilities as follows: -
    § Ensure that billings are complete, accurate and are raised and collected in a timely manner.
    § Ensure Operations Management Information is produced in a timely and accurate manner. This includes monthly management accounts, weekly KPI’s forecasts, budgets etc.
    § Ensure Third party Reports are produced as required.
    § Provide support and advise to operational personnel.
    § Advising operational personnel on areas for cost control and/or improving operating performance.
    § Review of Systems and Procedures and recommending improvements both short term and longer term.
    § Ensuring that all Procedures and Controls are fully documented and that such Procedures and Controls are being operated and are adequate for the business.
    § Ad hoc duties and projects as dictated by the workload of the Finance Department.



    2. Performance Measurement

    Detailed specific targets, which include planning, analysis and interpretation targets, will be agreed and set each year and actual performance will be measured against the achievement of these targets.

    3. Qualifications/Experience

    Qualified Accountant, with at least 2 years Post Qualifying Experience
