Reports to Facilities Manager
Facilities Officer- AV Temp Primary portfolio entails:
A Facilities Officer-AV liaises and collaborates with the internal staff, ancillary staff and external contractors of The Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, lending technical support, for the completion of various tasks in a timely and efficient manner. The Officer needs to be able to make informed decisions when planning and executing technicalities of company events.
DUTIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine testing of equipment to assess functionality.
- Ensure that all classrooms are set up with the requested audio- visual equipment.
- Configuring and setting up all systems in subsections of Audio , Video and Lighting.
- Troubleshooting technical issues, instantly pinpointing faults and remedy during an event under Audio, Video and Lighting.
- Lends general support to internal staff in preparation of functions held.
- Conduct videotaping and video editing on several internal and external events.
- Liaise with internal & external stakeholders regarding their expectations for events, presentations & video shoots.
- Should have technical experience working with HD cameras and audio mixing consoles.

Qualification
- Completed secondary level education.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Certification in audio/video production.
- 1 year working experience in the field.
