Facilities Maintenance Officer- Contract
Background
The Facilities Maintenance Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the maintenance/ repair of the Institute’s buildings and office accommodation and equipment.
The Job
The work of the Facilities Maintenance Officer will include but not necessarily be limited to performing work involving; electrical and mechanical crafts, conducting periodic checks of the Institute’s building facilities and attending to necessary maintenance and repair works and maintaining and fabricating specialized small scale equipment and other workshop related activities. The incumbent will be required to assist with the coordination of work with contractors to ensure that projects are done in accordance with the contract conditions and specifications.
