The Entrepreneur Programme Director (EPD) is responsible for the design, implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of the Entrepreneur Programme in accordance with the Centre’s objectives.

Your role is:
To ensure that all areas of programme delivery in the region including training, coaching, mentorship, professional services, and access to finance are designed to lead to the maximum benefit of the whole, for the benefit of the entrepreneur.
By reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Entrepreneur Programme Director (EPD) is responsible for the design, implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of the Entrepreneur Programme in accordance with the Centre’s objectives. The EPD will also participate in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives, and be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned. This role has a regional remit.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Training: Design and execute strategy for training programme, content creation and content delivery, while overseeing vetting of Official Entrepreneurs (OEs). Develop agreements and partnerships to further the programme in a positive way and provide guidelines and quality assurance measures for all training conducted by internal and external parties – including operational partners in the region.
- Access to Finance: Design and execute strategy for access to finance initiatives while ensuring that the training programme provides support for OEs to access finance opportunities. Create partnerships and serve as liaison with financial institutions, investor groups and other donors to provide beneficial access to finance opportunities.
- Coaching, Mentorship & Professional Services: Design and execute strategy to leverage support of coaches, mentors, and PSPs to support entrepreneurs while identifying and implementing necessary systems and training to lead to the efficient delivery of this support to the entrepreneurs.
- Income Generation: Design and execute strategy and structure to assist the BCoEC in achieving its annual fundraising targets, while identifying potential donor partners and preparing appropriate applications for funding.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Determine the most efficient and effective way of measuring entrepreneur programme success, while monitoring data collection and analysis and reviewing results in order to make recommendations for improvement.

You should have:
- Experience working with start-ups
- Knowledge of programme management and issues related to entrepreneurship
- A business degree along with three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a related field
- Proficiency in the use of cloud software including Google Drive, Dropbox, and Salesforce as well as the Microsoft Suite of products, in particular, Word, Excel and Power Point
The EPD usually works in a standard office environment whether at BCoEC or remotely but BCoEC may require him/her to travel outside the work place. Additionally, the EPD usually works a standard work week (Mondays to Fridays) but BCoEC may require him/her to work some evenings and weekends to monitor programme activities.
