The Enterprise Information Systems Generalist (EISG) manages the internal technology systems, cloud-based services, technology innovation, data security, and the 24x7 needs of internal customers who access company data on personal devices.
The Enterprise Information Systems Generalist (EISG) manages the internal technology systems, cloud-based services, technology innovation, data security, and the 24x7 needs of internal customers who access company data on personal devices. The role builds relationships with team members to develop a work environment supported by the most economical and innovative technology solutions to execute the company’s activities. The EISG will function as a people resource in project teams reporting to other PMO personnel or as Project Manager on an EIS Project. The incumbent will have day-to-day responsibilities derived from the key EIS responsibilities, which fall into these categories:
The candidate for the role of Enterprise Information Systems Generalist should have a passion for information technology and systems. S/he should the consummate learner and experimenter with current and future technologies. The candidate should be willing to work in growing organisation(s) and be prepared to implement new systems.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
The candidate should have as a minimum training in Information Technology and Network Administration. A BSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or closely related field is desirable. In lieu of the first degree, standard industry certifications in the various functional areas with the necessary experience will be appropriate.
