Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago

Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago

The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, ECTT (formerly The South Trinidad Chamber of Industry and Commerce, STCIC) is the representative organization for the Trinidad & Tobago energy and related sectors. We are based in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate - a world class hub of dynamic energy and heavy industrial sectors in Trinidad and Tobago.

Membership of the Energy Chamber is, however, drawn from across the country and beyond. Founded in 1956, the Energy Chamber is an independent, a-political organization governed by a Board elected annually by the membership. The Energy Chamber has a strong tradition of vigorously and effectively representing our members' interests and for significantly contributing to national development. We remain committed to positioning Trinidad and Tobago as the energy services hub of the region. As such, our major advocacy initiatives revolve around fiscal reform, gas value chain re-alignment, promoting local content and a more efficient state sector, improving the environmental clearance process and exporting energy services.

With over a century worth of experience in commercial oil and gas production, Trinidad and Tobago’s energy sector has a layered history and the Chamber’s goal is to ensure that the sector is sustainable over the next 100 years and beyond.
