Emergency Medical Technician- Ambulance Department

The EMT responds to calls for medical attention by driving the ambulance to transport sick, injured or convalescent persons.  He/she assesses the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or the need for additional assistance. 

Qualifications and Experience Required: 

• Three (3) O'Level Subjects in General proficiency (inclusive of English Language)
• Emergency Medical Technician Certificate and at least two years related experience
• National Registry Certificate
• Certificate in First Aid & CPR
• Valid Driver's Permit - Light T or Heavy T
• Certificate in Safety Principles and Defensive Driving will be an asset
• Must be willing to work shift as assigned by manager.
• Must be twenty-five (25) years or older.

 Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour.
