JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:                            Electrical Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT:                    Electrical Wholesale

ACCOUNTABLE TO:                       Electrical Sales Manager –

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities are as follows:-

1.     Hours of employment are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with one (1) hour for lunch.

2.     Responsible for achieving the sales target.

3.     Weekly visits to all customers.

4.     Respond to calls and customers on a timely manner.

5.     Check stock regularly for efficient service to customers.

6.     Prepare quotations on time, with follow up and file accordingly.

7.     Responsible for taking accurate information from customers.

8.     Responsible for invoicing and following up on orders placed by customers.

9.     Responsible for locating goods for customers from other locations.

10. Responsible for informing customers of items out of stock and price increases.

11. Responsible for making sure that customers agree to prices quoted before invoicing.

12. Monitoring each customer’s account, and making sure that payments are collected on time.

13. Monitoring each customer’s sales and items purchased.   

14. Assist in daily operations in the department.
