Electrical Engineer
iEPC Limited and its parent company, AG Holdings Limited, are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Ascendant Group Limited. iEPC Limited is pleased to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for assisting and advising on all matters related to electrical systems in buildings, such as electrical distribution, building controls and energy usage.
Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing engineering support and solutions for new and existing electrical systems; liaising with coordinating specialist engineering colleagues, consultants and vendors as required.
Preparing technical reports in support of assessment findings, recommendations and design solutions;
Preparing electrical designs including electrical drawings, cost estimates and schedules;
Developing and managing projects from initiation through to closure including planning applications, preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of tenders;
Supervising and commissioning assigned projects and ensuring proper project hand over including as-built documentation and occupancy certificates;
Keeping abreast of current local and international electrical engineering standards, trends and technologies, and continually bringing leading edge solutions for electrical issues; and
Supporting training and development of employees.
Key Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent qualification
Registered as a Chartered or Professional Engineer
Minimum of five (5) years of experience
In-depth knowledge of applicable engineering Codes, Standards and Regulations
Working knowledge of Government Health & Safety legislation and regulations
Knowledge of best industrial practices related to electrical engineering, with specific reference to international standards of specifications and technological trends
Proven track record of successful projects, excellent project design and project management. Project management professional (PMP) certification or equivalent would be an asset.
Strong technical, problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop others
Must be a highly motivated and flexible team player
