Trinizuela Technical & Vocational College

About Us

“Trinizuela Modern Secretarial College” was founded and established in 1964 by the late, Sylvan Mohammed, on Carib Street, San Fernando, with one typewriter and one student. It was later re-located to Hobson Street, San Fernando and then in 1965 to 47 Chacon Street, San Fernando.

The demand for space increased and Trinizuela moved into its own premises which was built in 1969 with its head office situated at 67 Chacon Street, San Fernando. In 1970 Trinizuela Computer Training Centre was established at Carlton Centre, St James Street, San Fernando. In 1963, Sylvan & Linda Mohammed, as a co-operate team recognized the need for skilled personnel in industries and expanded the curriculum beyond the secretarial field to include technical education in Trinizuela and further expanded locations to 77-79-79a Chacon Street, San Fernando. Trinizuela was then re-named “Trinizuela Technical & Vocational College” and Mr. Mohammed had been its guiding light to ensure that graduates of the college play their part well in the economic development of San Fernando and surrounding areas.

Trinizuela has since developed a forward-looking approach to education and offers courses that provide an excellent preparation for a variety of careers and professions. “TTVC” is not just an education, it is a world of personal development, real work experience and challenging possibilities. As a result of the increasing demand for vocational and skilled personnel, our late Director was instrumental in establishing additional locations in four (4) key locations, namely, San Fernando, Port-of-Spain, Chaguanas and Tobago.
