The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Science and Management programme is designed to prepare professionals to become technical managers and leaders in the areas of Environmental Science and Management. Graduates of this programme should be able to apply scientific principles and technical knowledge to the management of environmental issues particularly those of Air, Water, Soil and Noise pollution pertinent to Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region. They should be able to support the sustainable national developmental goals and fill identified human resource gaps in business and industry. Students are trained, in particular, in preparing Environmental Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment reports via a full taught course in each topic accompanied by appropriate field trips to local companies.
