The JSE e-Campus’ Certificate Course in Strategic Portfolio Management begins October 15, 2013. 

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Jamaica Stock Exchange’s Certificate Course in Strategic Portfolio Management will be offered in a blended format, online and face-to-face, and will explore fundamental concepts in investment theory and their application to the development of financial investment strategies, securities valuation and the management of domestic and international investment portfolios. This Course places emphasis on understanding developments in modern portfolio theory, risk management, quantitative investment management, behavioral finance, financial regulation, the funds management industry, as well as other relevant areas of applied research in financial economics. The Course also examines financial modeling and strategic decisions for equity, fixed income, as well as global investment portfolios and briefly reviews the case for alternative investments. The significance of emerging markets in international investing is also explored.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
