ECM Limited

ECM Limited was formed in 1970 by a group of dedicated professionals with a focus on providing world-class distribution of electrical products to industry throughout Trinidad and Tobago. 

Over the years, utilising this same dedicated focus on the initial founding principles, ECM has come to dominate the Electrical distribution market within the industrial sector of Trinidad and Tobago. 

We now provide support to large organisations including; BP Trinidad & Tobago Ltd., British Gas Trinidad & Tobago Limited, Atlantic LNG, Petrotrin, BHP Billiton, Nestle Trinidad & Tobago Ltd., among many others. 

Warren Del Caribe

In 1998 Warren Electrical, a major US Electrical distribution company acquired ECM as part of its expansion plans into the Caribbean region. With its regional Headquarters in Puerto Rico, Warren Del Caribe, the company was able to acquire new product lines, stronger business systems and international logistics and warehousing capabilities that significantly enhanced the product offering. 

Sonepar

In 2003 the Sonepar group purchased the assets of Warren Del Caribe and brought further international strength to the company. 

Founded in 1969 by Henri Coisne, the Sonepar group, electrical equipment distributor, grew rapidly thanks to the ongoing support of its family shareholders, organizing and structuring its business of electrical equipment distribution. A group of European stature as of 1982, Sonepar is now enlarging its international footprint through targeted acquisitions around the world. The integration of substantial Hagemeyer assets in 2008 marks a major step forward in that direction. 

Today, with 11.9 billion euros of turnover in 2009, Sonepar is represented by over 180 companies operating in 35 countries on five continents. It is at the heart of a €140 billion global market which, due to the growing number of applications for electrical equipment, fast-changing product technologies, and the need for new services, has considerable further potential. 

Today ECM Limited operates two (2) strategically located offices in Trinidad, Warehouse #23 Central Warehousing Complex Charlieville and #1 Amazon Drive, Point Lisas Industrial Estate Point Lisas. All locations carry inventory, with our Central Distribution Centre (CDC) in Charlieville.
