Description

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Duty Manager has the overall responsibility for a daily shift and will ensure that all functions are performed in a consistent manner with company procedures and protocol, regulations, and in accordance with client standards.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • First Degree in Business Management with a focus in Operations/General Management

  • Certificate in Supervisory Management

Knowledge & skills required

  • A minimum of three [3] years’ experience in the effective supervision of a team

  • Must possess good organizational and leadership skills

  • Good interpersonal skills, with the capability to interact effectively at various levels

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Ability to work under pressure and have a high stress tolerance level

  • Ability to effectively manage time and handle multi-task priorities

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Key responsibilities & activities

  • Oversee the smooth operation of the Central Monitoring Station

  • Coordinate the operations among the Central Monitoring Station, Response Teams (island wide), Central Command Centre and the outpost offices and Technical Command Centre

  • Plan and execute policy implementation applicable to the operation of the Central Monitoring Station

  • Supervise assigned staff for the smooth operation of the respective units

  • Conduct performance appraisal for assigned staff

  • Provide managerial and administrative support services to staff

  • Ensure all staff members adhere to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures and take corrective actions where necessary

  • Maintain customer satisfaction to meet and exceed company standards

  • Assist with the development and implementation of new concepts and techniques for Central Monitoring Station

  • Carry out process reviews and implementation of new processes to mitigate security violations for our clients

  • Interact with multiple levels of internal and external client, management and staff to research and resolve ongoing processing issues

  • Perform any other duty assigned within the scope of the position

     

Must be willing to work extended hours and on shift, weekends and public holidays.
