The Demand Planner will lead all demand planning activities within the market unit (Jamaica, Cayman, BVI, TCI).
Primary Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Control Tower process and lead the meetings for market unit to capture 90-day + and 0-90 day forecasts.
Work with 3PL partners to ensure adequate inventory levels across the channel.
Work with the business to improve asset management efficiencies and reduce aging inventories.
Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method, and approach.
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed.
Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and inventory levels).
Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).
Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the future.

Working Practices & Relationships:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, sourcing, and distribution partners to ensure strategic plans are linked to the day-to-day tactical operation.
Experience:
3+ years related experience in demand planning process within Telecom Industry.
Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.
Ability to lead cross-functionally.
Experience in managing end of life cycle.
Technical Skills:
Excellent computer skills in Excel and ERP system (SAP/Microsoft) preferred.
Knowledge of demand planning systems a plus.
Qualifications:
4 year college degree (Business, engineering or related field).
APICs certification in demand planning/forecasting a plus.
