The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the conceptualization, implementation and maintenance of the College’s databases.

The Job:

The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the conceptualization, implementation and maintenance of the College’s databases. The DBA will also be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity and security of the databases and the troubleshooting and resolution of all emergent issues.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

• a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a computer related field;
• at least five (5) years experience in Oracle/SQL database operations;
• professional oracle certification, preferably OCP;
• strong interpersonal and problem solving skills;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• an ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
