Crematorium Operator

The Crematorium Operator provides a high level of care in the operation of the Crematorium and cremation of remains.

We are seeking a suitable candidate for Crematorium Operator for our Trincity Branch. 

Key duties

1) Handle human remains in a humane manner, and loads them into the rertort for cremation

2) Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines to ensure safety of him/herself and clients

3) Process and package cremains, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery to authorized clients

4) Assist in inurnments and other related events

5) Maintain the retort, crematorium room and other areas in clean, safe manner

6) Ensure accurate record keeping for activities related to cremations

7) Support the overall team by performing other related duties

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• 3 O’Level Subjects
• Training in a Technical Field (Equipment Maintenance etc)
• At least two (2) years’ experience in a service environment
• Shows attention to details, strong customer service and teamwork skills
