A company in POS is looking to recruit a Credit Officer II

Credit Officer II

Key Duties:

1. Manage and service a portfolio of Accounts
2. Evaluate exporter’s ability to perform from both a financial and credit management standpoint and complete credit applications for approval
3. Prepare and effect disbursements
4. Prepare and complete  Underwriting applications
5. Conduct reviews of the Exporter, its buyer, finance and/or insurance facility as required
6. Develop and maintain relationships with current clients
7. Market new business by identifying and making contact with potential customers
8. Update and maintain database with new client information
9. Generate weekly /monthly report

10. Ensure security is released upon liquidation of credit facilities

11. Follow up with current clients on collections for past due accounts

12. Other general credit and administrative duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• B. Sc Finance, Economics or Management
• Experience in Underwriting will be an asset
• Experience in Trade or Finance will be an asset

Salary $6200.00 per month

The successful candidate must possess a valid driver’s permit.
