Job Summary

Responsible for transporting letters, packages, and other parcels from various locations along a planned route, as well as, different, one-time destinations as the need arises.

Principal Responsibilities

• Deliver documents to location specified within agreed timeframe.
• Collect and deliver cheques as assigned.
• Perform routine maintenance checklist on the Company vehicle in use.
• Chauffeur visitors when necessary.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures
• Perform any other duties as required by the job function.

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy T (Class 4) driver’s license
• Defensive Driving Certificate will be an asset
• School Leaving Certificate

Experience

• At least 2 years relevant experience
• Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be punctual and dependable
• Self-motivated and people-oriented. 
• Possess an exemplary safe driving record and no history of drug/criminal issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ability to prioritize job duties and handle multiple tasks
