COORDINATOR – ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTATION DIVISION
The incumbent must possess robust interpersonal skills, with evidence of teamwork and collaboration, be a self-starter and an independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously and most importantly have the intellectual capacity to interpret trends and data, translating the information into actions and improvements.
He/she will be responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills and product knowledge development.
He/she will also be responsible for identifying and securing innovative technology, products and/or services to expand the company’s existing product portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop, manage and execute marketing strategies designed to grow the Analytical & Instrumentation Division.
To provide strong leadership skills through the management of the Analytical & Instrumentation Division.
Develop our existing products offerings.
Develop strong business relationships with existing and potential new clients.
Identify and seek growth opportunities.
Implement initiatives that increase our market share within existing product lines.
Develop a sales team to efficiently and effectively market equipment and supplies to existing customer base.
Recommend new marketing strategies.
Continually study the profitability, demand and potential of existing and new products.
Assist with special projects or any other duties that may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry, or a combination of training and experience in a similar position or its equivalent.
Familiarity in the technical use and applications of high end Analytical Equipment.
MBA will be considered an asset
A Diploma in Management, Sales or Marketing will be an asset.
A minimum of three (5) years working experience in a laboratory.
Ability to develop new sales and marketing activities.
Superlative analytical abilities, strong business intuition, a passion for problem solving, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Must possess a good working vehicle and a valid driver’s permit.
