CONTRACTS & TENDERS OFFICER
The Contracts and Tenders Officer will be responsible for the preparation of Tender documents and contracts.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts.
Ensures all relevant documentation for bid proposals is completed, complied and accurate.
Ensuring all technical, commercial and contractual correspondence with tender proposals are efficiently addressed and closed off.
Prepares reports for management such as summary schedules, proposal overviews, competitive overviews and evaluation reports.
Liaise with existing and potential customers on a daily basis.
Maintain an efficient Filing system for all documents.
Responsible for internal and external interfaces during tender executions.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Tenders Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
A Diploma in Business Management or higher qualification will be an asset.
At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Must have knowledge of Tendering, RFP, RFQ and Procurement
Good attention to detail, time management, the ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal
Commitment to working to tight deadlines and delivering accurate, complete, high quality documents on time is essential
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Self –Motivated and goal orientated
Ability to work flexible hours
