COMPLIANCE ANALYST – TATIL LIFE ASSURANCE

This person will assist the manager of Compliance & Risk with monitoring adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures as well as review same to ensure compliance with Legal and Regulatory requirements at all times, maintenance and review of KYC documentation and ongoing HRC/PEPs

The incumbent will be required to utilize his/her proven expertise to:

• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the Company’s products and procedures, and a good understanding of industry regulations and guidelines as it relates to the provision of information and services to clients.
• Perform financial, operational, and compliance risk reviews and other special projects as assigned.
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures and external regulations
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls as well as compliance with company policies and procedures across the organization.
• Identify control weaknesses, deficiencies and/or business productivity/efficiency opportunities.
• Work with management to identify corrective actions for improvement given existing business and control risks and other cost-benefit considerations. Discuss findings with various levels of management.
• Review and analyze compliance monitoring reports and other related source documents for suspicious/unusual patterns of activity. Follow-up with responsible area for explanations and discussions for appropriate action
• Complete Various ad Hoc assignments as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, accounting related field or equivalent experience.
• Active Pursuit of Professional designations (eg. ACA, CPA, CIA) is desired
• Good knowledge of products, services operations and systems and be confident when dealing with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of companies and industry’s regulations and policies.
• 5 Ordinary level passes, including Mathematics and English
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and other operating software relevant to the department.

The candidate should have at least 1 -2 years proven audit, compliance, financial services operations and /or regulatory experience, or equivalent.
