PwC's Markets function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities, focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.
The primary focus of this position is to drive profitable revenue growth and relationship development efforts accounts which are in the target list for PwC, not yet won. At this level, the Client Strategist will be assigned a portfolio of clients, either in a support role or lead role as appropriate, that will be sector aligned, where possible. The Client Strategist will be responsible for working with the Client Strategy Leader, Client Relationship Executive and other team members to ensure that the account team achieves the overall account goals. The Client Strategist is responsible for sharing winning practices across the network with their assigned teams.
This role works closely with and reports to the Client Strategy Leader.
Account Management
Supports account management activities for assigned priority accounts, and manages account plans and account planning workshops with check points throughout the entire fiscal year
Where appropriate will either serve in a supporting role with another Client Strategist on accounts, or may be assigned their own accounts
Leverage relationship management tools to develop and enhance relationships with clients and targets and maximize market expansion
Proven experience assisting in the development of marketing and sales strategies: account management, sales reporting, account planning, developing responses to RFPs
Keeps current on financial information, press releases quarterly/annual reports and industry information on priority accounts. Identifies touch points and potential opportunities for account teams
Responsible for tracking revenue, including pipeline reporting for their assigned clients with Market Operations and Transformation
Maintains a master relationship matrix for the client
Captures action items from the teams to ensure client follow-up takes place
Writing proposals and effectively communicate through verbal and written forms
Proficient in creating and supporting client deliverables, proposals and other meeting documents
Experience in project management and account management activities
Pursuit Management
Understands and executes the firm's sales methodologies regarding account & relationship management and Pursuit™ to drive the overall results of the account
Familiarity reporting, maintaining and analyzing data within Customer Relationship Management systems
Works with the Client Strategy Leader to manage the proposal process for assigned clients, including applying a strategy and developing value propositions for the pursuit.
Prepares the client service team for interactions and oral presentations
