 JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY

The Cell Phone Repair Technician assembles, services, and repairs components and systems for electronic and smart devices by utilizing hand tools, and test equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications in a timely and accurate manner. He/ She serves customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing devices while ensuring customer satisfaction.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair smart devices and other electronic devices
2. Explains complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
3. Provides repair and replacement estimates to customers in accordance with the published price list
4. Ensures that all repairs meet or exceed store quality standards
5. Greets customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
6. Answers phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanour
7. Ensures that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
8. Keeps track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
9. Utilizes the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair
10. Disassembly and assembly of smart phones, game consoles, etc.
11. Opens/closes retail store
