Background  Information

Cayman Prep and High School is a Christian school which is owned and operated by the United Church of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The school operates on two sites - the Primary School and the High School. The student population is over 850 students with approximately 450 stude nts at the Primary school.

The school has high expectations of students in all aspects and as stated in our Mission Statement "Cayman Prep and High School provides a stimulating learning environment, firmly rooted in Christian principles, in which our students become critical, creative thinkers, responsible citizens and lifelong learners in an ever changing world." The school strives to create well rounded individuals through an emphasis on physical, aesthet ic, social, moral and spiritual education. As a Christian school we seek to undergird teaching and management with Christian principles.

The Primary school is led by the Primary School Principal, with a supportive and highly motivated team of teachers and non-teaching staff where everyone is va lued for whatever job they do. The school has a variety of extra-curricular activities and clubs on offer. There is a strong sense of community spirit and the students and teachers actively participate and assist others in need.
