DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

A leading Financial Services firm seeks a critical thinking, meticulous individual to complement our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, making recommendations on disbursements and financial data analysis.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Evaluate and recommend client’s request to the credit committee for adjudication
• Periodically review credit portfolio and ensure that facilities are being paid in accordance with agreed terms and that credit files are constantly being updated with current information.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions for the credit committee on new, renewal and existing leases.
• Track and review interim and annual financial information on existing customers.
• Maintain performance records of delinquent credit facilities and monitor the collection of arrears of payments.

KEY TEAM MEMBER PROFILE & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Profile:

• At least two (2) years relevant working experience in corporate creditpreferably in a bank.
  • Excellent financial analytical skills with sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualification:

• First degree in finance, accounting, business administration, banking, or equivalent qualifications.
• At least two (2) years relevant working experience in corporate credit preferably in a bank.
• Knowledge of credit and in particular the leasing product would be an asset.
• Knowledge of credit risk would be an asset.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of financial ratios
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
