CONCIERGE AGENT
The Concierge Agent serves as the guest’s liaison for both hotel and non-hotel services. Functions are an extension of the front desk with emphasis on the personalized services. Assist the guests in inquiries concerning the hotel or off-premises attractions, facilities, services or activities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Plans and hosts weekly concierge activities - cocktail/dinner
Checks all arrival rooms and spot checks occupied rooms – cleanliness, presentation, standards etc.
Develops a strong knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and services on and off property [churches – time of service]
Handles all guests concerns – restaurant reservations, tours, spas
Coordinates special services e.g. taxi for shopping
Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently and courteously
Inspects and prepares VIP rooms on arrivals
Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly accounted for
Ensures all concierge guests are promptly checked in and given personalized orientation, include handling all VIP arrivals
Ensuring the concierge lounge is well maintained, clean and inviting
Any other duties assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
College Graduate
Minimum two years’ work experience in a similar or comparative position
Computer literate with computer application and software i.e. Windows/Excel/Access/Outlook.
