Colonial Fire Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in 1955 by the late Cyril Lucius Duprey and in 1957 COLFIRE opened its’ doors in Port of Spain, as a small specialized company of qualified Underwriters to assist customers.

The company’s name was amended in 1968 to Colonial Fire & General Insurance Company Limited to allow our highly skilled Underwriters to satisfy all your General Insurance needs in Property, Motor, Liability, Marine insurance and other lines.
