CHIEF STEWARD

The Chief Steward will assist the Executive Chef in maintaining a clean & sanitized kitchen by directing & coordinating the activities of the stewarding personnel and simultaneously maximizing the department’s Operating Efficiency & Cost. Also, orchestrating all Banquet/ Catering functions ensuring proper execution of all events.

 Specific Knowledge & Skills Required: 

• Sound leadership skills and therefore the ability to work without direct supervision;
• Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure;
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills;
• Effective organizational skills;
• High attention to detail and level of accuracy;
• Impeccable time management skills;
• Be honest and trustworthy;
• Be respectful by displaying tact, courtesy and diplomacy;
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

• Three (3) years in a similar leadership position.
• Three (3) years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry
