Position : Business Development Officer
To develop new business opportunities/ relationships and in so doing meet and exceed established targets via tactics, such as targeted mailing, telephone calls and other strategies.
The Business Development Officer reports directly to the Branch Manager and in his/her absence their designate.
The Business Development Officer has authority as delegated by the Branch Manager or his/her designate.
Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders,e.g. customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations;
Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
Attending events such as site visits, seminars,receptions and exhibitions;
Sourcing and securing Host Companies, through direct or indirect contact and prospecting.
Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies;
Monitoring competitor activity and compile competitive profile.
Promote brand awareness throughout assigned region.
Responsible for the development of the relationship between the Credit Union and our host companies.
Develops annual marketing plan, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives.
Specifying market requirements for current and future products supported by on-going
visits to host companies
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Deliver presentation on financial services to groups
Execute an on-site loan facility for all our Host Companies
Process Loan Applications
Performs related duties as may be required by the Branch Manager.
Prepare regular reports with respect to the business development function/ business

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Business, Marketing or allied field
Possession of a GCE / CXC Ordinary Level Certificate of passes in five (5) subjects inclusive of English Language and Mathematics.
