Business Development Manager

As a key member of the AP Marketing Team, the Business Development Manager will be tasked with improving the organization’s market position and achieving financial growth.

The incumbent will assist in defining long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals whilst maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new customers and markets as assigned by the Marketing Director in accordance with company’s objectives and strategies.
• Develop and execute the Marketing and Sales Plans to drive profitability.
• Provide constant, timely and professional interactions with all existing and potential customers.
• Achieve annual budgeted sales of assigned Division
• Assist the Marketing Director in the planning and implementation of strategies to achieve mutually agreed objectives.
• Analyze and report on sales activities and trends with recommendations for improvement.
• Implement profitable pricing models that are customer, territory and product specific.
• Develop, maintain and /or enhance systems and procedures to process customer shipments.
• Preparation of monthly reports as required and assigned.
• Conduct any other related duties that may be assigned by the Marketing Director.

Education

• Undergraduate Degree: Marketing/Business Administration
• A Postgraduate Degree will be considered an asset
• At least 3 - 5 years’ Experience in a related field
