The incumbent will be responsible for seeking out, developing new business in the OECS and maintaining relationships with counterparties in the OCES to grow funds under management (FUM) to grow and diversify our client base (retail and corporate).

The incumbent will be responsible for seeking out, developing new business in the OECS and maintaining relationships with counterparties in the OCES to grow funds under management (FUM) to grow and diversify our client base (retail and corporate).
Duties and Responsibilities
Seek out and develop new business (retail and corporate) in the OECS to grow FUM and client base as well as increase Brand visibility
Maintain and develop existing client relationships to grow business, cross sell other services, and build brand loyalty
Identify and target EC Governments and key institutional clients for structuring, underwriting and sale of primary & secondary Capital Market issues. Sell and distribute new issues in the primary market to raise funds for clients, maintain and grow fee income and widen security offerings to clients
Identify and target pension funds for management and other wealth management opportunities to grow fee income and FUM
Manage Business Development Team and process to ensure the achievement of targets (FUM, meetings, seminars, new clients)
Provide Managerial & Operational Support to the EC office.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field from a reputable University or professional qualification from a recognized professional body eg. CFA, CIMA, ACCA and five (5) years progressive experience in financial services, at least three (3) of which must be at the Managerial level. Candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of investment products throughout the marketplace, demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service with strong sales, marketing and negotiating skills as well as demonstrable ability to pursue and achieve targets and goals.
