Building Maintenance Technician

Building Maintenance Technician with a Driver's License.

• Carry out facility inspections to identify unreported general repair and service needs and report issues to the Properties Officer
• ·         Assist with the co-ordination, supervision and follow-up of maintenance tasks at all facilitates
• ·         Assist with the maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles through routine repair assessments
• ·         Coordinate and assist with the preparation and delivery of furniture, equipment and supplies for meetings at conference facilities
• ·         Facilitate either directly or through a sub contractor, transportation and delivery services for the department and or the company as required
• ·         Prepare service contracts for review by the Properties Officer; monitor service levels to ensured adherence to agreed terms
• ·         Respond to trouble calls within 24 hours and make recommendations for the  solution or initiate the preliminary course of action to address the problem
• ·         Perform any other related duties and handle special projects as may be requested by management.
• ·         Five CXC passes including Maths and English
• ·         Knowledge of basic technical maintenance
• ·         Must posses a valid driver’s license
• ·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• ·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ·         Good judgement and the ability to co-ordinate work activity and manage resources
