Building Maintenance Officer

The Building Maintenance Officer assist in the inspection all company property and ensures that the facilities and equipment are well maintained and in a state of repair. When necessary the candidate carries out remodeling projects, estimates materials and labour costs for remodeling, alterations, and installation projects. The Officer performs and/or coordinates complex repair and maintenance tasks, supervises contracted labour in such maintenance duties as painting, carpentry, masonry, cement work, and general upkeep involving structures, furnishings, equipment, floor coverings, acoustical ceiling, plumbing, air conditioning, electrical and related systems.

Salary Range: $5,000 - $10,000

 Qualifications:

• 3 GCE/CXC O'Levels inclusive of Mathematics and English
• Technical/Trade school certificate
• Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
• Computer literate
• Valid Driver's Permit
• Defensive Driving Certificate will be an asset
